The Spellbound Affair - Alternate Ending is just as it claims to be, and picks up directly at the end of Chapter 63 of the original story. It is the gateway into the rest of the series, which follows the lives of Castle, Beckett, Ryan, and Esposito as they adjust to their new relationships and the family grows around them. The alternate universe will expand with intermittent stories focusing on events that occur over the next 20 odd years and beyond, as Kevin and Javier grow up once again.
