So, I finished the series again (and finished Interrogatives?) in very early January. I took some time off and watched a bunch of other things. But this is my comfort show and having a writing practice that involves showing up to the page each night is apparently better than . . . not doing that?
So, for the fourth time, I guess, one short ficlet per episode. They're independent of one another, so a reader can dip in and out of things. The premise for this series its much looser than the previous three. There was Dialogic (stories prompted by a line of dialogue), Object Lessons (prompted by an object that appears in the episode), and Interrogatives? (prompted by a question literally asked during the episode).
In this series, the prompt is . . . what do Castle and Beckett want to know more about in the context of the episode? What moment got interrupted, or what aren't they telling one another (or ready to ask about yet). As I said, pretty loose, and I think that's showing, but we'll see how it goes.
I'll put these up. season-by-season. I'm most of the way through Season 3 right now, but it'll take me some time to transfer things from Tumblr.

I recently started rewatching Castle from the beginning, after taking time off after Dialogic. With Dialogic, I chose a line of dialogue from each episode to prompt the story. For these stories, I chose an object from the episode.
Although I suppose in my mind these are "in continuity" with one another, one can certainly read them independent of one another.

This story is 24 brief sketches, one for each episode of Season 2, inspired by a line of dialogue from the episode.
I did the same thing for Season 1, but there's no reason you couldn't read this story (or any chapter of either story) independent of the others.
