Summary
Life has been rough on both Richter and Bear.
Richter has had his entire world turned upside down by an apocalyptic event. And now giants are wandering the ruins of humanity kidnapping people, himself included. Worse yet, they can't understand him.
Bear is still recovering from the after math of a war among magical beings. Struggling to keep going as day by day his experiences eat away at him.
In an attempt to ease the pain, Bear brings home a tiny pet, to keep him company. A reason to get up in the mornings. Bringing a terrified Richter home. And trying to build his trust over time.Series

Summary
After a cataclysmic event humanity is left in both an unfamiliar world, and the ruins of their own. To make matters worse, people are being taken by creatures from fairy tales. Just like Richter. A man who'd lost it all, and more. Stolen from the ruins, he's been sold to the first being that would take him. Richter is forced to navigate his new role as what equates to house pet, while establishing to his master that he is in fact, an intelligent being.
Meanwhile William Hart, Richter's new owner, has plans to study this new species that cannot be translated by any beast speech spell. As well, no sound out of this creature's mouth even comes close to any known language in history. After war, tragedy and heart break, it might be time for a new project.Series
