Summary
Theo says, voice like a glacier, "I'm warning you now, I'm not dying for you."
Liam fixes his gaze on him. Theo's eyes are doing something complicated, wavering between gray and green and blue. "I'm not dying for you, either."
That's not all. There's more left unspoken on the hill of Liam's tongue, something he sees in the blaze of Theo's look, too, as Theo runs his gaze down Liam's battered body and back up to his face. A silent agreement: but I will fight with you.

Summary
“Here it’s safe, here it’s warm. Here the daisies guard you from every harm… Here your dreams are sweet, and tomorrow brings them true. Here is the place where I love you.”
The song ends and Theo still feels the tremble of its chords in his heart as he lies there, broken and silent, heart slowed by the presence of the anchor who doesn’t know that he came to be Theo’s only anchor. The stillness around them bends and reshapes itself around the synchrony of their heavy breathing.
"You used to sing that song to me,” Liam says quietly. Like he’s tasting the truth on his tongue. “When I had nightmares. Real or not real?”
Theo’s heart jumps. His throat is still stopped up, but Liam deserves an answer. G-d, he deserves all the answers, just for trying this hard to come back to himself.
