Deku sits next to the door, the wall is cold on his back. The pressure of his tailbone against the harshness of the baseboard seems to fade in and out. He blinks. Aizawa is standing in front of him, Iida slightly further back. What was he doing again?
“Midoriya.” Aizawa’s hand is rubbing feeling into his fingers. It makes his hands ache.
“G-Good morning Sensei.”
“Why are you… sleeping, next to the front door?”
“I’m not.”

Summary
The class whispers to each other, while Midoriya stays silent. The flow of water in his ears only begins to pick up, rushing with his heartbeat. The stapled papers in front of him almost seem to distort, as if he's look through a glass bottle. Midoriya doesn't think he really has to read them though, he already knows what he's doing his project on.
His hands seem to move on their own, writing in his barely coherent scrawl that he calls his handwriting.
