A creature much older than Katherine at the time, and Damon in the present time. To trust her lineage in the hands of a vampire wasn't something she completely trusted... But trusting her lineage in the hands of a nearly ancient being that their spells and incantations mentioned... She trusted that.
For years, Helios watched over the Bennett line in the shadows. Quietly and without hassle. He gave extra protection to those who genuinely used his name in their magic, and the ones who didn't... Their magic slowly slipped from their grasps with no explanations from their elders. But now, although the line didn't have many living witches, the ones they had... Wylan sucks in a breath, steeling himself and getting his order right in his head before opening the door. The sound of the door must have gotten Jesper’s attention, because he looks up from the machine behind the counter and waves.
“Wylan! Hey, you're back,” he says, grinning at Wylan as if he truly is happy to see him. “Nina, look–” he taps her on the shoulder as Wylan walks over.
Nina, who has just finished serving a customer, swats Jesper’s hand away lightly. “Yes, yes, I see him,” she says with an exasperated eyeroll, making eye contact with Wylan afterwards. She smiles at him. “Hey Wylan, what took you so long– I was stuck with only Jesper for conversation for like four days– it takes its toll on a person.”
Wylan, laughing at Jesper’s feigned offence, responds. “I’m sure he’s lovely company to have.”
“See! I am lovely.” he says to Nina, clearly proud of himself

The Will of Fire presents itself in any number of ways. Putting your life on the line for the village, for example. Reaching your full potential as a Shinobi through rigorous study and training is another good one. Annoying the shit out of Genma. Catching that brat that keeps leaving frogs in the ANBU lockers. These are all worthwhile and admirable goals.
OR Some random Chunin is being evaluated for induction into the ANBU black ops despite being wholly unqualified. Hatake Kakashi is responsible for the evaluating, though he's also probably unqualified if we're being totally honest.

Jason is a pompous ass-hole with strangely good morals, he does everything for his own benefit but it affects Rhaenyra positively, so who is she to complain. Daemon is causing chaos somewhere, he also has a two bastards he acknowledges, or something like that.
Or we follow Rhaenyra who accidentally gets politically savvy and gets allies in different parts of the realm, in a realm that is increasingly spinning towards a civil war.
