Ranboo's sudden loudness surprised Techno. Ranboo had always been so soft spoken and polite, it felt wrong to hear him shout.
"Alright then, let's go!" Dream was incredibly impatient, brushing over the fact that there was definitely something wrong with Ranboo right now.
"Dream, calm down for two seconds or I'll send you right back to that cell. Now what do you mean, Ranboo?" Techno's tone quickly changed depending on who he was talking to. He was no Phil, but he was forced to learn a few things about comforting a child from his time with a certain unspoken blond.
"I- I need to stay here, Techno. Please? It's better for everyone this way. Now please leave, before I waste more of your time. You're clearly in a rush,"

"Ranboo, what are you doing here?" He asked the question much more firmly than the last time.
"What n-needs to be done, obviously," Ranboo responded, trying to match Techno's firmness.
"And what is that, Ranboo?" The concern was starting to show through Techno's voice.
"I'm going to find the answers, or at least die trying. I did something unforgivable today, Technoblade, and I need to find out why. Why did I do it, what does he have that I don't? What was so bad that I would hurt my own family? What was so bad that I would hurt Michael? I hurt Michael."
"Ranboo, I didn't understand anything you just said," Techno admitted.
Ranboo cried out, "I'm too dangerous, Techno!"
"And Dream has a house,"

No, I mean," tears fell down Ranboo's face, making a sizzling noise, "as an inmate, Sam!" Ranboo shouted, covering his face.
"Ranboo, I'm not gonna lock an innocent person into the prison," Well luckily for me, I am the least innocent person I know. "You haven't done anything wrong, Ranboo," Sam paused for a moment, "Are you alright?" He asked again.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm ok, I'm ok," Ranboo was trying to convince himself more than Sam.
"What's going on with you?" Sam asked the question as if Ranboo hadn't already established that he couldn't tell him. "It's- it's- I can't tell you," Ranboo repeated, "I can't tell anyone."
"Ok, I get that," Ha. No you don't. "But, are you alright? Just tell me. Are you alright?" Sam stepped closer.
Ranboo stepped back. He sighed, "I-" then he chuckled dryly, "I don't know anymore, Sam,"
