Summary
“You can’t honestly think of marrying her to a Witcher. She’ll be miserable,” Lambert argues, wishing Gwen or Aubry were here to back him up. They’re the reasonable wolves. Geralt might listen to them. “And we can’t give her any heirs, if that is what Kristian is after.”
“And here you have the reason you’re not in the council. This is not a matter of her happiness, but of far greater things,” Yennefer snaps back while she fiddles with the megascope in the corner.
“Well, maybe it fucking should be,” Lambert hisses back, just to be contrary. He’s not much looking forward to the smell of fear being constantly present in Kaer Morhen’s walls.
Yennefer throws him a glare that would have lesser men tremble in their boots. “Then maybe you should marry her, if that’s so important to you.”
“Maybe I should,” Lambert’s mouth says before his brain can catch up with him.

Summary
When Aiden arrives at the Caravan without his silver sword, no one asks questions. Aiden expected questions. He prepared for questions. He prepared for punishment – silver swords are expensive, and it was beaten into him young that whatever you do, you never ever lose your swords.
And here he is, in threadbare armour, and without one of his swords, and no one even asks him what happened.
----
A ghost from Aiden's past shows up in Kaer Morhen, unearthing some events he'd have prefered to keep buried.
Can be read as standalone.
