Summary
In the mythos of Inazuma, there exists a tale of an injured crane found and tended to by a poor man, but days later, a beautiful person appears at his door. Though he protests and says he cannot support them, the disguised crane insists. Days pass, and they weave beautiful silk brocade that fetches high prices at market. Curious as to how this person weaves such beautiful silks, he's horrified to find them plucking out their own feathers to weave into the silks. Horrified, he begs the crane to stop, and the crane leaves because he cannot accept their sacrifice.
The morale of the story is that love cannot exist without sacrifice. This time around, Arataki Itto begs to differ.
