He had concocted a plan, and shit fell through like it normally did around the white-haired woman. Bakugou remembered staring into her eyes after brunch their second morning there, the mutual feeling of love and utter devotion swallowing them whole.
“Marry me,” It hadn’t been a question, but a spontaneous demand that he couldn’t have taken back if he tried.
“Okay,” Was her quick reply with the sound of clarity ringing around them.
“I–really? This wasn’t how it was supposed to fucking go. There’s a ring, I had a damn place in mind–”
“Since when has anything ever gone according to plan for us?” She had looked at him sweetly before kissing his chin, “The answer is still yes.”
