The story follows Shadow and Tails, a reluctant duo who have never met before in this universe, who are in search of the missing Sonic. Tails just wants to find his friend, but Shadow’s only here with the promise of a Chaos Emerald. But with Tails’ eventual kind nature and those striking blue eyes that speak of times long gone to Shadow, could it be that his motives are changing…?
