Summary
In the years since the wars, Duo has kept the truth of what he is a carefully guarded secret. His impending heat during a mission with Heero threatens to let everything out into the open.
“You’re so pretty,” Heero murmurs when he draws back, and this time, Duo is sure he’s not imagining it. He can’t be, not when Heero is looking at him like this, with those ocean blue eyes so fathomless, so full of feeling. “Too pretty to be anything else…” He scoffs in spite of himself. “I don’t know how I missed it.”

Duo ducks his head, hands worrying at the lace hem of his negligee. His nails are painted a soft, shimmery pink, winking like seashells from the tips of his slim fingers. “I thought you’d like it,” he says, risking a glance up at Heero through his long lashes. Then, softer, “is it too much?”
