Summary
Patrick looks over to the other side of the gas pump where an absolutely striking man holds the nozzle away from himself as if it were diseased. He's standing next to a motorcycle that's seen better days, and he's wearing a leather jacket and skin tight pants that look...absolutely inappropriate for the task at hand. Inappropriate for a lot of things.
The man clears his throat and Patrick reluctantly wrenches his gaze away from the leather stretched over the man's hips, where he gazes at Patrick with a sideways smirk.
Patrick's cheeks are burning as his voice cracks on a "Hi."

Summary
He’s never, not once in his life, felt this much nervous excitement, and definitely not with Rachel. Part of him wonders if something about the emotions or adrenaline of the day they met inflated the idea of David in his mind, that having David as more than a fleeting memory would somehow diminish the reality of him. But in his gut, the instincts Patrick's trusted to get him this far, he feels anything but that.
