It was only later on, when he was laying in bed and between two hard, sweaty bodies, did he finally see the connections. Rooster and Hangman would call him oblivious but it wasn't his fault. He couldn't really see the signs.
Though it should have been quite obvious to someone as observant as him. But again, it wasn't his fault.
It wasn't his fault that he was so boring, so dull that he was always on his own, always ignored, always feeling unwanted. It was just the way the Universe was, and he understood that. It wasn't something he could change.
At least, that's what he thought. Then, the two idiots got together and set their sights on him. He couldn't possibly understand how they could possibly want him, but they did.
Boy, did they want him.
