Summary
The aftermath of surviving a monster is difficult for everyone, but most especially those that were forced to survive their torture.
Ramses, in the years following the second death and defeat of Imhotep, is finding himself becoming more and more numb, going from being a happy-go-lucky adventurer to an apathetic recluse over the course of five years. Between bad dreams, training sessions with Horus, and his struggles with his identity, his sanity is at an all-time low despite being free of Imhotep and his wicked plans.
Unfortunately, a new villain is rising on the horizon, and the hero must rise once more- whether he likes it or not.
And sometimes, that means seeking help from the dead and buried past.
