Summary
Scapino was rescued from a tomb of ice.
A tomb where she should've died, frozen to death with a fiery vision failing to protect her.
But the Tsaritsa intervened with Scapino's fate, as the queen of the icy waste of Snezhnaya often did. Her first harbinger and vanguard pulled Scapino from the ice, saving her from an icy demise. After being taken under his wing, she was brought up with heavy expectations upon her shoulders: to surpass the man she had come to know as her father, and to bring glory to the Tsaritsa's name.
The Dendro Gnosis was supposed to be her claim, her chance.
But alas, fate twists in odd ways, and now she's stuck in Liyue, investigating a sudden concentration of Abyssal energy. As Rex Lapis' dominion fades, the Abyss seeps in, aiming to take what they can from the people that have resisted them for so long. Scapino must make the impossible choice: Her family, or innocent people who are in desperate need of help.
It may cost her position as the eighth, perhaps even her life. After all, going against the Tsaritsa's wishes...
That is treason. And treason is rewarded with death.
