Summary
Taehyung mostly remembered screwing around with Jimin during self-defense training. But he remembers one rule: don’t try to be a hero.
Complying with what you are told to do while you are being threatened with a knife is a very sensible thing to do. Most people that try to threaten you are fairly emotionally unhinged, so by staying calm yourself, you have the least chance of escalating the situation.
Or, that’s the theory.'Sequel' to my previous one-shot 'Simple Horrors' because I couldn't leave well enough alone. But yeah, just like that that one, this story is dark and brutal, so a fair warning.

Summary
Seokjin looks up. Sees the slow breaths being forced into Taehyung’s lungs and hears the fast fast fast fast fast pace of the heart monitor. Taehyung lies perfectly still, which in and of itself is weird, because Taehyung is never still. Even in his sleep he talks, he moves; Yoongi had even caught him dancing once –weird night- and had precariously tried to guide him back into bed.
“Yeah,” he chokes out, “He looks so bad, Joon-ah,” he repeats.
Namjoon sighs deeply, pained by the implication. “Just stay with him, hyung,” he says softly, “Tell him we’re on our way. That he’s strong. And that- that we’re proud.”
