Summary
In this alternate universe, La Squadra is a carnival and circus troupe participating in decidedly disorganized crime. Their newest members are knife-thrower Pesci and hypnotist Prosciutto, two long-ago-orphaned brothers with a well-intentioned but toxic sibling dynamic. The relief Prosciutto feels after meeting other Stand users is short-lived; soon, his most intrinsic instincts will be thrown into question as he plans a heist against a rival troupe—and most notably, trick-shooter Guido Mista. This character study and unconventional romance examines what our first and most basic instinct is: self-preservation, a sense of belonging, or love.
