"You got a cat?" Kojiro asked when Kaoru and Carla reached the skate park.
"Carla is more than a simple house cat!” Kaoru gasped. “She's my familiar. Not like a foolish mortal would understand."
"Whatever Morgana. So what can it do?"
“Don’t talk about her like she’s some tool! She’s my magical helper and my friend, imbecile.”
“Don’t get so worked up, pinky. I was just asking about her powers.”
“Apologize to her, dummy!”
“I’m not apologizing to a cat, four-eyes!”
Carla hissed when they got into each other’s space and started pushing each other.
“Master, are you in danger? ”
“Stand down, Carla, it’s just Kojiro.”
“This is Kojiro?” She asked confused. Why is her master fighting with his supposed best friend?Or the one where Carla takes with honor the draining task of being Kaoru's familiar. The witch's life is intertwined with the mortal, Kojiro, and Carla will be the first witness to the growth of their relationship.

Summary
Okay, so it took him 21 years of his life, 4 years of meeting Kaoru, going on tons of dangerous and insane missions together, and getting stuck on a time loop that always ends with Kaoru (or sometimes both) dying, for Kojiro’s gay awaken. He’s slow, was too busy surviving as a demigod living in the modern world also known as a magnet for monsters and disaster, and the world is a cruel place filled with homophobia, sue him. Now he's stuck with the task of repeating this day again until Kaoru is safe. He'll do anything as long as he has Kaoru.
