Summary
The Imago's are a well known pureblood family that fled to Oceania before the the First Wizarding War. Despite this, their continued ties to Britain extends an invitation for their eldest daughter, Evelynn (OFC) to study at Hogwarts. Starting in her 6th year, Evelynn's secrets start to unravel, and an unlikely mentorship is born.
This is the first part of a canon-divergent / AU fix-it fic. It is a collection of oddly strung together chapters, spanning the years 1989 to 1990. The second part, The Beginning of the Beginning, is currently being written and uploaded. Beware of canon divergence from Harry's first year, where mentor!Snape will come in.
