When thus I hail the Moment flying:
"Ah, still delay—thou art so fair!"
Then bind me in thy bonds undying,
My final ruin then declare!
Then let the death-bell chime the token.
Then art thou from thy service free!
The clock may stop, the hand be broken,
Then Time be finished unto me!-Faust, J.W. von Goethe: Part I, Act II, scene vi

Summary
Man’s active nature, flagging, seeks too soon the level;
Unqualified repose he learns to crave;
Whence, willingly, the comrade him I gave,
Who works, excites, and must create, as Devil.-Faust, J.W. von Goethe: Part I, Prologue in Heaven
—
As he waits for work on the Ragnarok to be completed, Dietrich pursues the blasphemy haunting Ala Mhigo—and unexpectedly encounters Zenos in the Royal Menagerie. For the first time since Dietrich’s initial, ill-advised journey to Garlemald, the two of them have a proper conversation. They discuss the past and the present, although neither of them can guess at what the future might hold.
At a loss for what else to do, they hunt blasphemies and attempt to find the answer together.
