Summary
His thoughts are interrupted by Nai’s palm landing heavy on his nape. Then he’s shoved, neat but harsh, forward. In the terrified slow motion of freefall, Vash envisions blood flowing down the drain and bleakly succumbs himself to bodily injury.
And then Nai is there, because of course he is, and Vash fits right into his shoulder. Where Nai directed him to, he realizes. He only pushed Vash because he was there to catch him, and despite any of the whirlwind betrayal Vash felt in the moment he can’t help but admit he needed it.
