Summary
Ever since he could remember, Ashley has only ever loved one person.
Or: Ever since he was born, Ashley the Angel was alone. The only exception, all he had ever loved, had been his other half, Ashton. Ashley knew everyone thought what he felt was wrong - but for him, there was no other option. His brother, too, knew Ashley would never really "get over it", so he ignored his brother's strangeness and pretended not to see or understand each longing gaze the other threw at him.
Until now.
Or: Ashley loves his brother.
Ashton does too, so he puts aside his morals for a night to give Ashley a special gift...

I was going to ruin him.
I wanted to devour him, body and soul. I wanted to punish him, and what greater punishment than the defilation of his body by a mere peasant guard? What greater humiliation than being pushed down like this by me, trapped in his own bed, unable to even move his body?
A rush of excitement ran through me as I leaned in.“I’m going to give you what you want.” I announced, without a trace of warmth in my voice. I think we both knew what the words really meant – I'm going to take what I want from you.
The king’s only response was a small shiver at those whispered words, and the way he pulled me closer, legs wrapped behind my back, left no doubt in me what he meant to say-Do it. I dare you.

Summary
Maya's life as daughter of the chieftain of a small harpy tribe had so far been shockingly uneventful. Pleasant.
So, of course all this had to change once she came of age. Increasing pressures finally forced her overprotective father to do the unthinkable, something she never thought he had in him.
He was marrying her away, shipped off to some stuck-up fae lord who thought her an uncultured barbarian.She was not looking forward to this marriage.
