Summary
Beyond this wall was the rest of the heavily fortified island they would have to fight their way through in order to escape. Then beyond that island were the churning, icy ocean waters that stood between them and the city-state Wilbur had once called home.
And beyond that state was a world where Wilbur would never have been considered a criminal, would never have been given prison for life just because of the power he was born with.
A world that never stopped that state from imprisoning him.
A world that some deep, vengeful part of him wanted to see burn.
They say they're making the world a safer place when they put all those powerful civilians into Pandora's Vault. They tell the prisoners that it's for their own good. But really there's only one thing they should say:
"Beware the fury of a patient man."

“I’m not going back,” was all Tommy could say, his eyes fixed on the horizon, on the island off the coast with a huge, ugly, black prison complex taking up most of its surface.
Daniel was silent for a long beat.
“Not going back to where?” he asked, almost hesitantly.
Six years after the fall of Pandora's Vault, it seems as though nothing has changed. Yet there are some past victims of the government's corruption and cruelty that would like to do something about that.
Some say that revenge is a dish best served cold. Others would argue that revenge is just a fool's game.
