Summary
"I saw it," O'Sullivan agreed. "Only for a second, though, before it ran behind the fridge. Think it's diseased, too. Looked kinda ... orange."
Reyes asked, his posture even more rigid than usual, "An orange rat?"
There's a rat in the APD precinct. Except it's orange and loves vegetables. Officer Reyes is acting really weird about it, and Detective Washington is suspicious.

Summary
TK was really good about keeping Lou's terrarium closed properly. After five escapes and one trip to Carlos's precinct, he had to be. He couldn't risk Lou not coming back next time. Or Carlos getting fired, that would be bad too.
So he was positive that he'd made sure Lou was put away before game night.
Something is making game night at the Tarloft a lot more biting than usual.

Summary
He looked over at TK, who was still standing on the other side of the couch awkwardly. “Babe? You coming?”
“Uh, no. I’ll follow you guys in a second.”
Carlos exchanged glances with Tommy, frowning. “What, why? You were all excited a couple minutes ago.”
“Nothing! I mean … someone should still probably hand out candy, right? Lots of kids are gonna be stuck in the building, so …”
If Tommy had been suspicious before, she was sure something was going on now. She was TK’s boss, she knew his faux innocent voice all too well. At least Carlos looked as confused and mildly suspicious as she was.
Tommy wants to give her kids the perfect Halloween. She didn't anticipate a storm, a difficult conversation about grief, or a ... dragon?

Summary
In the sudden quiet that followed, the growl was obvious. Then there was another hiss.
Every pair of eyes in the room snapped to him and TK.
“It’s not Lou!” TK insisted, his voice cracking a bit.
Something small and orange is hiding in the firehouse. But maybe, just maybe, it's not TK and Carlos's fault this time.
