Summary
Ghost wasn’t a stranger to waking up in odd places. Their missions were demanding, there wasn’t always time for them to eat, much less sleep, so it wasn’t unusual to catch him or any of the other members of the Task Force catching shuteye at the most random locations.
What wasn’t typical was for him to wake up chained up in a dim-lit room with a blinding headache.
Ghost groaned, drawing a deep breath through his nose. There was a lone light bulb hanging from the ceiling, far from bright enough to illuminate the whole room, still felt like a stab to the head. He closed his eyes. It wasn’t difficult to recognise the signs of a concussion.
“Bloody brilliant,” he muttered.

Summary
“– aking up, can you repeat that, Ghost?”
“The building has been set to blow up!” Ghost shouted into the comms, cursing the bad connection. He could finally see the light from the ground floor. “Tell Price and Gaz to–”
The ground beneath him shook with a deafening boom.Ghost hit the stairs hard, grunting when his shin connected painfully with the edge of a step. Soap was now frantically calling for him through the comms but there was no time for him to respond. The whole house was shaking, rumbling ominously, dust and plaster raining down on him, so Ghost pushed himself up and through the door just as the stairs collapsed, but that’s as far as he got. The ceiling above him came down and the moment something struck his head, everything went dark.

Summary
Unfortunately Ghost's grenade seemed to have given their enemy ideas because not even a minute later one was thrown right back at them. Soap shouted a warning, but Ghost was faster, grabbing him by the vest and dragging him behind yet another container for cover. Soap winced, scrambling to regain his footing when Ghost released him, his ankle twinging with pain.
"Thanks," Soap breathed, but that was all the time they had before they were pulled right back into the fight.
The guards were pushing them hard. There was no time or room to breathe, much less think. Soap fell back to his training, letting his instincts take over as he took shot after shot, but it wasn't enough. A bullet ripped through his sleeve, grazing his arm and another whizzed right past his head. Ghost swore by his side.
They were getting boxed in.
