With the gag gone, the sounds return anew. Unbidden, worse than before and his body's shuddering at the force of them, he feels the bile make its way up his throat and he's retching, throwing up days worth of rot on what he realises are the man's pants. He's fucked, he's so fucked, he's ruined all his chances of being fed. He's fucked himself.
There's a hand on his back and his entire body seizes at the touch, it burns and he's about to be hurt and he wants to curl into it.
"It's okay, kiddo, it's alright, it was just an accident, I'm not mad —"

Jason Todd gets tossed into the Arkhamverse and proceeds to find and adopt his presumed-dead kid alternate who's very much alive and very much traumatized.

Summary
If someone had walked up to Jason a few months ago and told him there existed an alternate universe where Bruce was more of an incompetent parent than he originally was. He would’ve laughed, and then popped the offender with a bottle, and then proceeded to finish said bottle.
But holy shit ,alternate-Bruce made his Bruce look like the parent of the year. If the kid’s crippling martyr complex was anything to go by. Someone had been hurting the kid, and that was way before his time under the Clown’s thumb.
