Summary
Looking up from his drink is when he first notices the tall blonde leaning against the bar, bottle in one hand, only half participating in a conversation with a few other men, his attention obviously on Mav.
When their eyes lock, the blond smirks, says something to his friends and makes his way over. His eyes never leave Mav’s as he takes several measured, confident strides. When he reaches his target, the man lets his eyes roam over Mav’s face and body, and Mav can’t help but feel like he’s being undressed where he sits.
Mav meets Jake in 2014, newly single and not looking for a relationship... But as the years pass, Jake becomes a consistent part of his life.
