“Ominis—what are your plans for Christmas?” Garreth asks.
“I have none. You know this.”
“What if I told you I might have the perfect idea for you?”
“I’m not coming home with you, Garreth. You know I hate to impose,” Ominis says, rolling his eyes. “And your sisters are too intense for me. Haven’t you told them I’m not interested?”
“I’m not asking you to come with me,” Garreth says, and the infliction of his voice changes, the tone becoming playful. “What if I told you that Sebastian Sallow is looking for a Christmas companion?”
In an impulse decision that is so unlike him he can barely recognize himself, Ominis tags along with Sebastian on an impromptu road trip to London.

“None that were more important than you,” Marvolo says, and his tone of voice is one Ominis hasn’t heard in a long time.
Ominis visits his older brother for Christmas.

Summary
“I know your name,” he gasps, mouth still pressed against Marvolo’s. He means to push away, but doesn’t manage it, not with the way that Marvolo is still holding him tightly. Marvolo bites his bottom lip harshly—enough to cause a spark of exciting pain, not enough to break through the skin.
“I told you my name.” The smirk that Marvolo wears should be illegal for how enticing it is. He’s too handsome for it to be a shit-eating grin, and on anyone else it would be particularly unattractive, but he makes it work.
“Not what I meant,” Garreth says and bites back, pulling Marvolo’s bottom lip between his own lips to suck harshly. When he lets the flesh go he explains, “I know your name from your brother.”
Three weeks post-breakup, Garreth thinks he’s doing fine.
And then he meets Ominis' older brother.

Soft strains of music float through the opulent halls, playing a jaunty little tune that he’s not familiar with, but it’s sensual. The kind of music Marvolo favoured during one too many of their trysts that Ominis would be lying to himself if he said he wasn’t questioning Marvolo’s intentions. The room is thick with the smells of vanilla and saffron, becoming cloyingly sweet in the warm air of the drawing room.
