Summary
The worst part isn't Bonnet's stupid face or cooing voice. It's not losing his apartment, the one space that was his and his alone, and having to move into Bonnet's absurdly large house. It's not the woman from social services watching him pack and asking, "Don't you have any special cuddlies you'd like to bring?" and looking so sad when he growled no. It's not even the way Ed looks at him now, no longer seeing Izzy as a best mate but someone he doesn't know or understand. And that's the best case—at worst, Ed looks at him with that stupid dopey face that he has to have picked up from Bonnet, like Izzy's some disgustingly small pathetic useless pet he has to look after.
But that's still not the worst part. No, the worst part is that he managed to keep it a secret for so fucking long.

Everyone knows that littles can't take care of themselves. Luckily Izzy has his very generous daddies who've taken him in and who'll take care of him and make sure that he never ever ever has to do anything for himself ever again.

Summary
"Papa?"
And now, of course, Stede has a very special someone to share his mornings with.
He knows that he should change Izzy as soon as he's awake rather than letting him sit in a wet nappy for any period of time. But he's found, through several days of trial and error, that Izzy does best with morning changes when he's had a chance to relax, to sit on Stede's lap and get a cuddle first. If Stede tries to change him the moment he's up, it just results in an upset, screaming baby and Stede dodging kicks to the face as he tries to tape on a fresh nappy.

Izzy settles into life with Papa and Daddy. It's good, it's soft, Papa and Daddy love him. But sometimes, things don't feel quite right. Sometimes, things feel wrong and bad and scary.

Summary
Ed's honestly kind of concerned by how much Stede is spending on this. Caterers, flowers, balloon animals, a fucking clown. Yeah, Iz hasn't celebrated his birthday in years, but it's not the world-ending, tear-jerking catastrophe Stede thinks it is.

It's a very special baby's birthday.
