Summary
“Baul, I might require your assistance.”
“I’m already babysitting my grandkids, General, I don’t have room for another.”
Lilia shakes their head. “I am at my wits’ end. Silver keeps crying and I don’t know what he wants. Do you have any clue what I should do?”
Baul’s face still scrunches up at the word, but the matter of getting Silver’s cries to stop far overweighs his conflicting emotions. Time wears down the will eventually.
“What have you done?”

Summary
With Silver’s head nestled into the crook of their neck, Lilia bounces him and slowly walks around the room, singing the words to a song that have been lost to the Draconia line for centuries. Three loops of the lullaby had the child blinking heavily.
Lilia replaces the pacing of their feet with soothing rubs to the child’s back. They felt a heated, happy energy thrumming from the other fae.
“Is something funny, Baul?”
“No, General. I’m just musing on how you said you’d never be a parent.”

Summary
“Your mess stays in your corner of the room.” Malleus shoos the baby away with a motion of his hand, not that anything would deter the baby.
“Did you like Malleus’ eyes, Silver?” Lilia laughs. “It seems you’ve attracted him with the glow. It might remind him of Baul’s scales.”
Malleus’ eyebrow twitches. What a freakish baby. What sort of peculiar genetics this child must have.

Summary
“I have no doubts that Lilia wasted no time in introducing themself to you, even though you would’ve had no way of knowing.” Malleus removed a stray leaf from his own hair, wistful eyes search the child's face. “I don’t really know how you two met, you had simply shown up one day. Did Lilia give you your name, I wonder?”
Silver cocked his head to the side, the bird nestled atop his head fluttered elsewhere. Surely his namesake was a testament to its timeless beauty.
OR: uhhh silver speaks his first word!
