When Steve woke up, he had no idea what was going on. He was pressed against Eddie’s side, one leg and one arm draped across his friend’s body and his hand tangled deep in his curly locks. Eddie was grinning at him, his face the picture of utter amusement. “Who were you just dreaming about?”

Summary
Eddie and Robin sat shoulder to shoulder at the bow of the rowboat, leaning against each other for support.
“I'm still not convinced he isn't going to murder us,” Eddie whispered into her ear.
“I'll go high, you go low?” Robin suggested under her breath.
“Mmhm,” Eddie agreed, their defense plan now set.
Steve turned to face them. “Okay,” He said, his lips quirking into an easy smile. “Who’s ready to fish?”

Summary
Eddie still didn’t know who Steve had been dreaming about the morning that he had wrapped himself around Eddie in the living room while making kissy faces in his sleep. Nope, the mystery crush was still a mystery, and the only clues that Eddie had gathered so far was that the person was someone that he knew from high school, that they were not a girl from the video store, and that they were also, quite possibly, maybe even… not a girl at all.

Eddie finally let himself look at Steve, his heart pounding as he watched the flickering colors and shapes from the TV dance across the sleeping boy’s face.
But something wasn’t right. Steve had started to contract and grow stiff.
“Steve?”
Steve’s jaw clenched tight, his fingers gripping the cushion under his head as his eyelids fluttered wildly.
“Stev- Steve!”
In a panic, Eddie lunged for him, gripping his shoulders and shaking him fiercely.
“Steve! Wake up!”
