“Talia, sweetheart, you’ve got to come with me to work, okay?” Lando’s voice held a gentle tone as he reached up, sweeping her hair away from her face.
“Why I go to daddy’s work?” Talia mumbled, her words slightly hindered by the bright pink dummy in her mouth.
“Because daddy has to work! Auntie Ria can’t play with you today, so we’re going to go play at work!” Lando gave her a radiant smile, to which she returned instantly. “Take your dummy out, sweetie.”
Talia popped the dummy out of her mouth with enthusiasm. “Is papa racing?” Her eyes lit up with joy. “I wanna watch papa race!”

“Dance with me, come on. Like all those classic films in the rain.” Lando’s twirls paused, his hand outstretched towards his boyfriend.
“Nice joke.” Oscar swatted the extended hand away, but Lando recovered quickly and held it out once more. His eyes flickered between Lando’s bright face and his hand. “Oh, you’re not joking.”
“No, I’m not.”
“Lando,” Oscar began and laced his hand with Lando’s outstretched one, an apologetic expression ready to soften the blow. “I can’t dance.”
“Doesn’t matter,” Lando insisted, his determination unwavering. “You can follow my lead.”
Or,
Lando and Oscar are stuck in a rainstorm that has hit Monaco and Lando finds a way to pass the time.

“I’m going crazy,” Lando whispered to himself with a dry chuckle, dragging a hand down his face. “What’re you supposed to be? Some fucked up version of the ghost of Christmas past?” He spat.
“I’m you,” Oscar replied with a bored look.
Lando scoffed and tucked his knees as close as possible to his chest, an unnerving feeling growing. “No you’re not, you’re- I don’t even know what you are.”
Oscar smirked to himself, a hit of amusement growing on his face. “I mean, I’m Oscar- the Oscar you knew- but I’m also you.”
There was a beat of silence, and then, “What?” Lando asked exasperatedly.
Or,
Lando wakes up in the middle of the night and is forced to face a fragment of his past.
