Summary
Because they’re both going to wake up in the morning, like they always do, and go about their days. Angel will be fine by morning, and neither of them will mention the night, just like they’ve done dozens of times before.
It should be so easy, shouldn’t it?
—
Husk patches Angel up after a particularly rough day, and things are complicated.

Summary
He loves Husk’s wings, the softness of the feathers, the way they tickle when they brush against him. They were so different from Valentino’s wings, which may appear soft but are rigid and sharp up close. Fully extended, they encircle him like a satanic halo, and when closed down, swallow their prey whole.
—
I saw a post somewhere that was like “would Husk’s wings ever remind Angel of Val’s,” and I have not stopped thinking about it.
This is set in the same universe as my other huskerdust fics, but can stand alone!

Summary
Husk wanted Angel to have a nice night out. They’d been dating for a month, Angel was in a much better place mentally, and things were going well.
Coming down with the stomach flu was not part of his plan.
EDIT: this was supposed to be a one-shot but I couldn’t help myself and wrote another chapter on a whim :) enjoy

Summary
“What would it take?” Husk shouts. His voice cracks, and he clears his throat. “What would it take for you to do it?”
Valentino turns away, glancing over his shoulder. “You have nothing I want. You don’t have a soul to bet, and you lost all your riches along with it.”
—
Husk set out with one goal: get Angel out of his contract. He doesn’t care what rules he has to break, who he has to persuade, or what happens to himself. However, Alastor isn’t pleased with his property getting involved in soul contracts, and a dangerous deal leaves Angel’s fate in his own hands.
AKA no one is having a good time; enjoy your angst!

Summary
It is truly exceptional, the lengths Hell will go to make its residents suffer. Husk resented his new form from day one: his fur was hot and high-maintenance, he tripped over his tail constantly, his wings were heavy and awkward and made his back ache. He thought that after decades of being here, that it would get easier, but it never did. He cursed whatever sick power decided that Hell is full of animals, to no avail.
—
Angel and Husk both molt thanks to their animalistic traits, but in very different ways. Mutual care ensues.

Summary
Angel blinks. The question sits in the front of his mind, but the words aren’t processing. He rubs his eyes, making sure he’s not dreaming. “Husk,” Angel finally says, voice low and gaze wary. “I think I’m finally losing my mind, because that sounded like a proposition.”
—
The first time they have sex, and Angel spirals.

Summary
Angel shrugs, and then lets out a strained laugh. “I’m not exactly sure how to ask this, but can you dom me? Like platonically? Non-sexually? Fuck, I never thought I would be saying that.” Angel laughs again, and Husk can hear the tears forming as it catches in Angel’s throat. The spider is blushing furiously, eyes glistening, still chuckling under his breath; Husk is starting to worry that Angel is delirious.
The cat blinks slowly. “What exactly do you mean by that?”
“Can you…” Angel trails off, burying his face in his hands. His fingers claw at his hair. “I don’t know what I want. I’m so fucking confused. I need you to be in control right now.” Angel meets Husk’s eyes in a deep stare, and there’s so much confusion and terror in them that it nearly makes Husk cry as well. “I don’t care what you do to me…” Angel inhales shakily. “Just tell me I’m doing a good job at least.”
—
Trying to get clean, Angel deals with the unfortunate reality of his job without drugs to get him past the worst of it. Husk takes care of him when he drops.
