"The uh-" The word 'constellation' was on the tip of his tongue. He shut his eyes tightly and turned his head to the floor, now snapping his fingers. "The star things, the... shapes-" Then he had it, looking back at the wide window with a bright smile. "Consolations!"
"...Constellations." Homelander corrected. The Deep made a silent 'o' shape with his mouth. He was close enough, at least...

"Seriously?" Homelander scoffed, but there was a notable lack of malice in his tone. "Are you twelve?"
"No," Kevin shrugged. "Twelve-year-olds aren't supposed to drink." Homelander's eyes crinkled in amusement. "Do you wanna play or not? We don't have to."
"Fine, fine. Whatever," Homelander sat up a little more and turned his body slightly to face Kevin. He still looked a little out of place. They both did. All suited up and sharing a bottle of too-sweet vodka that was more powerful than Kevin thought. "How do you play?"
