  Summary

  She was never told to think for herself. To do for herself. To contribute for herself
  So when a man, a waterbender, asked her father for her hand, she felt right in the middle of a battlefield. Only she, is a girl, a none-bender nonetheless. She doesn't have a chance against benders, neither does she against the say of men.

  The foam-stone, which has the Water Tribe's symbol engraved on it, is as blue as his eyes. The ribbon is a darker shade, which more reminded her of the sea at night. It is as traditional as one could possibly imagine. Boring more than she could possibly bare.
