Shauna rubs soothing circles onto her foot “Little brat.” She hisses under her breath.
“Shauna!” Deb gasps affronted “It was an accident.”
“No, it was not an ‘accident’ that little demon child enjoys my suffering.”
Deb laughs “What? Honey don’t be ridiculous, Callie's the sweetest little angel.”

Summary
Jackie left just before dinner kissing Callie’s forehead and bidding Shauna goodbye, leaving the two of them alone. Callie had been quite throughout dinner just sipping at her juice and nibbling at her pizza while Shauna tired to make conversation. But then bedtime came, and Callie started to throw one of her tantrums and Shauna lost it.
“I am so sick of you being such a brat to me!” Shauna scrubs a hand down her face, breathing hard.
“Then go away! Go somewhere else!” Callie yells her little voice trembling.
