Summary
War, that was what he was. To see men attack each other, murder for a cause that was so trivial, so idiotic, it was laughable. Throughout the ages he fed many a battle, many a fight in his name and in the name of others. He was War in all its glory.
Bliss slicked down Zoro’s throat as the battle continued, making sure to keep an eye on the man with the knife. He wasn’t disappointed. Enemy after enemy was dropped just by the one man who moved so swiftly through the field that his enemy never noticed him. This young man before him was the epitome of what a warrior should be. But it was the pause he would take after a kill, whether it was a face to face, at the back, or with a gun kill, the man always did the same thing. He paused after and gave a silent remorse, a sadness, for the life he had just taken. Zoro didn't get it. He decided that he needed answers to these questions as he watched the other men from the platoon.

Summary
Usopp learned over the years that making rounds at the hospitals wasn't the funnest or best part of his job. It tended to be just mixing known illnesses and/or diseases together to make a person worse. Which, sure, as Pestilence was all kinds of fun, but it was the making up of new things that really got Usopp excited. He loved creating random things that he called ‘too-scared-to-poop’ disease, or ‘there-is-no-reason-to-have-a-nose-bleed’ illness.
Most of the time when Usopp tried out one of his new diseases no one could figure it out for weeks, sometimes months, or even after the patient had already passed away. But this young doctor was able to do it in a couple days. There was no way that Usopp was going to let this young man get the better of him.

Summary
People who have never experienced starvation could never understand how Luffy felt all the time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. He lived in constant starvation. He hungered for everything. That was just what Famine did. Luffy fed off of people's desires for whatever they wanted most.
Nothing that the red head was looking at tipped Luffy's scales. He watched as, finally, the right side of the scale started to move down as she held up a dark blue negligee. He watched closely as the left side started to go back down, meaning she wanted it but something was stopping her. Just like what he has done before, Luffy tipped the scale. He placed his finger firmly on the right side and pushed down. The woman than simply found the appropriate size, paid, and left.
Luffy decided to get Nami to steal whatever it was Chopper had that she wanted. He placed two fingers on the right scale and pushed down. Luffy watched her dissolve melt into acceptance and then all of a sudden the scale was pushed up. It didn't do it subtly or lightly either. It shoved upward with all the force it could muster, dislodging Luffy's fingers. The right scale was now as high as it could be and Luffy didn't know what to do.

Summary
Brook was the typical Grim Reaper everyone thought about when they thought of what Death might look like. He had his cloak and scythe, just to make everyone he reaped know that their thought on his appearance was correct. He also was entirely made of bone.
Brook made his way up a floor of the hospital to the more intensive care patients. He looked through their charts and noted to himself which ones he should take at that moment and which ones could wait for a while. To Death this was routine.
He watched as the baby pulled his soul back to him all on his own and secured it even more firmly to his body. Brook didn't understand. No one had ever been able to thwart Death. Not like that. Sure, there were many people that had been brought back quickly by their doctors or others, but never had they brought themselves back like the baby did. He even made a small giggle and kicked in Brook's direction, almost like he was saying, “I’m not afraid of you, Death.”
