Summary
Now Yuji's voice was filled with delight as his chatted with Geto, the sound of glass being placed on the desk at the front of the store signalled that Yuji had gotten him the beer he wanted, beer he probably wouldn't get to drink tonight. They had gotten Megumi out of his suit jacket and shirt by the time Yuji's voice could be heard happily realizing out loud that Gojo must be here too, and the sound of footsteps.
An unimpressed look fell over Sukuna's face at Yuji's attention went to Gojo before himself, but as he bounded over with such unfiltered delight Sukuna didn't want to stomp all over that. Except it wasn't Gojo who Yuji's eyes landed on first but a shirtless Megumi, who was left wincing as he sat up and almost curled in on himself. Only Narrowly missing completely knocking himself out, Yuji distractedly bumped into the door's frame.

Sukuna and Yuji's relatively settled lifestyle of working at a tattoo shop is getting upended when uninvited guests come into their closed store, one of them is bleeding with a knife in his side and it's only the begging of the issues they will bring with them.

When Megumi didn't continue, Yuji said, "You must be a trustworthy person if Gojo trusts you around people from other groups without betraying him, and if people from other groups trust you to be around them."
"It's just that we've known each other for so long, being from different families has never really mattered."

It reminded him of the ways those older men had stared at Tsumiki. This customer was probably twice Yuji's age as well, sitting there staring at Yuji like he's some sort of meal. Yuji seemed to not even notice it and for that at least, Megumi was glad Yuji seemed so unaware of himself and worries. Shuffling over to the couch to search around his stuff for the pills.
"He a regular?"

Megumi has started to notice that Yuji gets flirted with a lot while he's working but a particular customer comes in and Megumi is forced to think about the type of men he was never able to keep his sister safe from.

"You don't have to be so gentle." Yuji said as he sensed Megumi was getting closer to finishing up his work, breaking the silence that had fallen over them both.
Opening his eyes just a little, Yuji continued to press on, "I've been through much worse, I can take at least this much."
Moving his body up a little in Megumi's space, forcing Megumi's fingers harder into his skin for a moment before Megumi was able to pull away. Megumi took his fingers completely away from Yuji's skin for a second. Yuji was a little worried he'd done something wrong, but Megumi just came back with more salve on his fingers. He was always generous with the amount he used, more than necessary.

After Yuji comes to the main house Gojo owns, he's left to rest and recuperate under the ever present and watchful gaze of Megumi. They are still finding their place around each other with everything that's happened, but a gentle moment in the midst of all the drama unfolding is important for both of them.

"We couldn't go to a local hospital and Shoko wasn't too sure what exactly caused it, had to chalk it up to a temporary effect of what I'd been through. For forty-eight hours though I was effectively blind. For about an entire week afterwards I could barely think properly."

Nothing for himself. He hadn't mattered, no matter how tired he got. Geto hadn't stopped for a single second. Had rushed around from person to person, tending to their needs or checking in on them. Geto was dead on his feet and it was all catching up with him now. He felt like he was pleading with Gojo to please stop. To finally take a break before Geto can't handle it anymore.
The worry is making Geto sick, and it was like Gojo was finally picking up on it, "Okay, Suguru, okay how about we lay down for a little while?"

With Naoya having revealed himself and everything having to be dealt with as a result. Everyone barely has time for some rest but it's Gojo that Geto's most worried about, and the both of them are pushed to their limits before they finally give in and allow themselves a break to rest.

The words were innocent enough but suddenly Gojo was on high alert. Every muscle in his body tensed at the sound of those words. Megumi wasn't one to approach him so easily for anything, if he was coming to him for help then it meant something serious had happened. Gojo pulled him over and around his desk to stand in front of him as he asked what was wrong.
"What's happened? Who do I need to kill?"

The day when Megumi decides he'll start taking steps towards his feature. He spends an early morning at his sister's bedside before going to face the inevitable. Going and asking Gojo (and Geto) about how best to propose to the love of his life, Yuji Itadori, he doesn't want to mess this up and he needs advice.

Those words are met by silence, but when Megumi anxiously looks over to peak at the expression on Sukuna's face, he doesn't see anger or anything of the sort. Sukuna is sitting there and considering Megumi closely. His expression is more thoughtful than anything else. He seems to be thinking it over and taking Megumi's words with the seriousness Megumi had said them with.

Megumi has been thinking about wanting to propose to Yuji. Before he approached Yuji with the question, Megumi wants to meet with Sukuna and get his blessing. Through his talk with Sukuna, he's also advised to Yuji about it before he officially proposes to him.

Megumi's eyes were shining with such life. Yuji had given him a new outlook on life, and he had become the person he was with Yuji's help. Growing healthy and happy at his side, Yuji had been blessed to be around Megumi, and it showed clearly. Two people who couldn't be more in move with one another. There was so much that could be said, but it was just so easy to get lost in the feelings of it all.
