Summary
Sim Jaeyun is a very successful lawyer, thank you very much.
That was probably half accredited to the fact that a good chunk of his client could otherwise destroy him on the spot, or cast unspeakable curses on his entire bloodline, or simply just eat him.
Being his specific brand of lawyer was not without it's dangers. Lawyering for the Otherworld folks in a mortal world was tough, but he had the help of several witches and a werecat that made his job a lot easier.
Of course, nothing could have prepared him for the case waiting for him in his office that morning. A Fae and a Vampire with two inherently contradicting contracts and the most stubborn personalities Jake had ever come across.
He sure had his work cut out for him.

Summary
Mortal Lawyer Sim Jaeyun was good at his job, thank you very much. He was thorough and confident in his abilities, and he will always fight for justice.
When the Tinnitus Clan hire him as a defence attorney for their youngest Clan member, who was found at the scene of a gruesome attack, Jake is starkly reminded that not everyone shares his sense of justice.
It's a case of ignorance, of dismissive expectation, of perceived nature versus explicit nurture.
Jake just hoped they could win the case before it was too late.

Summary
Sim Jaeyun was good at his job. He knew that. Everyone knew that. It was common knowledge at this point.
Which was why his long lost friend turned up out of the blue and pawned off a high profile case to him- a Siren accused of murdering thirteen sailors in a shipwreck.
Things aren't as simple as they should be. His client is hiding things from him, Chan is hiding things from him, he can't get his own witnesses to stop confessing, and to top it all off, Jungwon was still missing.
Jake was really in over his head with this one. Of that, he was certain.
