[Our] History, as an American, as told through Phoenix WRight's writing persona, Phoenix Write. who just writes fanfic for the Steel Samurai based on his partner's / best friend's description of canon events that happen in the show. Because like. One of the reasons why he doesn't want to watch the show with them is that he's really attached to his own version of how things even managed to HAPPEN in the Steel Samurai franchise, based on the tiny bits of spoilers he knows because both Maya and Miles will call him to rant about things they don't agree on, fandom-wise because Miles is a "Canon is untouchable" type fan and Maya is all about the Enemies to Lovers MagiSteel ship and not just because she's a fangirl but because they kinda just smushed the Pink Princess and the Steel Samurai together to have them make a baby but there's no real CHEMISTRY between them.

Or something like that. This probably won't make any sense to us later, when we're not high. We'll keep these notes here for prosperity, though. Something something fandom historian - though I think Phoenix is also going to be writing for various other fandoms to like, help him emotionally process the bullshit that is the 7 Year Gap -- now that Kristoph is finally safe behind fucking bars.
