Sakura bounced excitedly on the tips of her skates, her cheeks flushed pink from the cold and the excitement of finally being able to skate with Papa. She’d gone with Daddy, Shinsou, countless times before, but today was different—today, it was Bakugou’s turn. She could hardly contain her joy.
"Come on, Papa! Let’s go!" she chirped, her tiny hands gripping the edge of the railing, her wide eyes sparkling as she peered out over the ice. The rink stretched out before them like a vast, frozen expanse, full of endless possibilities.
Bakugou scowled, eyeing the rink as though it were his mortal enemy. He shifted his weight from foot to foot, fidgeting with his gloves for the third time. “Yeah, yeah. Give me a second.” His fingers fumbled, clearly stalling, but his gaze never strayed far from the ice as though he was contemplating just how he was going to survive this.
