Sometimes, as the war dragged on and the bodies piled on and on, and Fox stood hight ontop of their unmoving corpses did he cling to the memory buried in his heart like a drowning man to a lifeline. Like the memory of the sound was the only thing keeping him afloat. The clear sound of the sun laughing kept him sane, kept him from getting pulled under the crashing waves.
