Ponyboy always had headaches. He didn’t really count ‘em but if you asked he’d probably say he got one every couple of days, maybe? Every day if it was bad, but only every week or so if it was good. It couldn’t be a sure answer, though, because sometimes he didn’t even notice them. He’d just gotten so used to them.

Ponyboy has chronic migraines but he's so fucking dense he thinks that everyone gets them (every single aspect of his experience with migraines is based off of me and my incapability to realize that 1. no, most people don't get daily headaches, 2. I need way too much aspirin in order to function, and 3. I really need to learn to avoid situations that will cause them, but I'm lowkey stupid)
