  ‘Don’t.’ Mizrak sat up and snapped Olrox away by the hair. ‘Don’t you dare bite me, vampire.’

  Mizrak waited. He waited for Olrox to move with unholy speed, to bite and claw into him and finally kill him once and for all. He waited as Olrox’s eyes drew open, held his breath as he recognised the unmistakable hunger in the vampire’s gaze. The same kind always following Mizrak, always haunting him.
