  Summary

Theodorus Blueknot has been raised in preparation for the healer's quadrant all his life, while his siblings were reared to enter other quadrants. But when his would-be rider sibling is murdered in cold blood and Theo comes to a realisation that rocks his world, the only decision left for him is a terrifying one. He makes the decision to abandon his life-long goal of healing, and races off to cross the parapet.
On the other side, he'll find answers for his brother,
  answers for his mother,
  a long lost flame,
  power beyond his wildest dreams,
and a family worth dying for.
