It has been almost a year since Shem-Ha's defeat and the lifting of the Curse of Balal. Between graduation looming, her activities as a Symphogear Adaptor, and finally confessing to her best friend, Hibiki Tachibana's life finds itself settling back into a relatively normal routine. However, when the fallout of a seemingly routine mission unearths disturbing new truths about Gungnir itself, Hibiki and her friends are drawn into a deadly conflict stretching across the stars and dating back to the dawn of life on Earth. Forces, human and otherwise, converge on Earth as S.O.N.G. finds itself with new friends, enemies, and the fate of humans and Gods alike in the balance.
