Summary
Three things to a perfect picture: the silence of a room where nothing moves for hours on end, an artist, and a subject whose impatience has a talent for turning into something obscene. Among the rest, that sketch becomes the one which Geta wants to keep. Needs to. Needs to keep.

Summary
Geta had waited for this for a long time, so long that months would not measure it for him, and even years fell too short. Maybe he'd been counting the days to be here for his whole life, but had simply not known it before: it was the only estimate which could begin to describe the longing.
Somehow, Caracalla still made it seem as if he'd been waiting even longer.

Summary
Geta had made a promise to his brother, but now he's nowhere to be found.
Did he leave because he was hurt? Because what Geta had done to him had hurt him, because he'd failed to protect them from themselves - or because this was the will of gods, to tear them apart for their failure to love one another the right way?
He could not reach them now to ask them, and the weight of their silence felt too heavy upon his shoulders.
