Summary
After the loud approval and praise came the sounds of discontentment. Booing and complaints — Tydeides, where are you off to?! — entered the Ithacan’s tent and he laughed under his breath again. The noises soon grew more and more quiet and were replaced with more peaceful but still gleeful discussions that could be heard in the tent no more. Then, there were steps outside, approaching steadily. Good.

Summary
The camp was growing louder and much less sober with each passing minute. Everybody was engaged in some more or less indecent activities — some kept drinking, jesting and conversating, while others busied themselves with slaves or sometimes — one another. Diomedes’ mind kept jumping from one thought to another while he was staring at nothing in particular, the wine in the cup he still held in his hand left untouched.
Someone then entered his line of sight. A bit startled, Diomedes rushed to check who it was. He didn’t know how much fortune he must have had on his side or why the gods had blessed him with such luck. By no means was he disappointed, though.Series

The night on which Diomedes and Odysseus are sent on a mission together is the night on which Diomedes decides it's high time he stopped stifling his violent emotion. But can he find enough strength and cruelty to truly hurt the man he loves so much?Series
