Summary
Amidst the gloom of the shadow curse, Astarion and Kelari cuddled up in their shared tent among soft pillows and blankets scavenged from various places. The small tiefling was fidgeting with a small thread that had come loose on the sheet covering them, avoiding eye-contact with his lover by staring at the lights he had summoned floating around them.
Astarion kissed his head softly, trying to soothe the discomfort. “You don’t have to tell me anything darling. I know this was your idea, but you don’t have to feel obligated just because I told you about Cazador and…” He gestured with his hand uncertainly. “…everything..”.
“No, I..” Kelari sat up a little straighter and looked at the vampire with determination. “I want too. I want you to..know me. It has just been a while, since I talked about this. Honestly, I just don’t know where to start.”
After Astarion has revealed most of the details of his past, Kelari feels it is time to tell the vampire about his life as well, as their relationship moves forward.
